Natural Resources Task Force
The Natural Resources task force works to provide research and data regarding the development, implementation, and enforcement of regulations and ordinances as they relate to the protection of natural resources. This task force meets as needed.

The Data Quality Task Force:
The Data Quality task force has organized a statewide coalition of business interests around the concept that our state regulatory agencies must be held accountable to the science they use when promulgating regulations & policies. The task force is developing legislation to aid our members in their effort to combat “junk science” and shaky regulatory decisions. Meets as needed.

The DEP Task Force:
The Department of Environmental Protection task force works to combat unreasonable regional policies and regulations associated with the administrative & technical reviews of sewage planning modules. Meets roughly once every six weeks.

The PennDOT Task Force:
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation task force works with PennDOT to improve the timeliness & reasonableness of the Highway Occupancy Permitting system as well as related requirements for Traffic Impact Studies. Meets several times over the year.

The Conservation District Task Force:
The Conservation District task force has partnered with regional county conservation districts to create & monitor our state’s first E&S Self-Inspection program. Additionally, the Task Force is engaging the Districts regarding the Chapter 102 program as a whole to ensure reasonable permitting requirements as well as appropriate enforcement actions. Meets as needed.

The Stormwater Management Task Force:
The Stormwater Management task force focuses on improving municipal stormwater ordinances as well as the NPDES permitting process to include permit conditions related to the water quality & quantity. Meets as needed.

Legal Task Force:
The Legal Task Force meets as needed to review and provide advice to staff on pending litigation, proposed municipal ordinances, and funding requests for member assistance in litigation.

Political Action Committee:
The Voice of Housing is the Political Action Committee of the HBA of Chester & Delaware Counties. This committee evaluates candidates to determine HBA support from a financial and/or grassroots efforts. They conduct candidate interviews for potential candidate at the Federal, State, and Local levels. This Committee meets on the Last Tuesday of the Month at 8:30AM in the HBA Office.
