HBA holds clothing drive for Coatesville Arson Victims
West Chester, PA- The Home Builders Association of Chester & Delaware Counties recently held a clothing drive for the victims of the Coatesville arson fires.
During the week long drive the HBA office served as a drop off location for food, toiletries, clothing as well as school supplies and household items. Association members Joe Mingioni, Mingioni Construction, Wayne Megill, Megill Homes, David D’Agostino, D’Agostino Builders, Dave England, Rouse/Chamberlin Homes and Todd Pohlig, Pohlig Builders offered their offices as alternate drop off locations.
In total the HBA had four pickup trucks, two SUVs, and a car filled with the donations. They were delivered to the Salvation Army of Coatesville where they began distributing the food and toiletries to the Fire Victims and will distribute the rest of the donated items shortly.
“This truly was a team effort and indicative of the generosity of our members. Members of the HBA consistently look beyond themselves and remain committed to improving the lives of those in need,” said HBA Executive Vice President, Michael McGee. “We have a number of other community service initiatives planned for this year, and welcome participation from members and non-members alike.”
The Home Builders Association of Chester and Delaware Counties (HBA) is a professional trade organization comprised of more than 400 companies involved in every aspect of the new home construction process.
